new idea for a fucked up plant:
has a mutually beneficial relationship with a species of bird (maybe a hummingbird) where the plant will eventually devour the bird and steal its syrinx/etc and use it to produce calls which attract more birds.
could be similar to whatever is up with figs and fig wasps I don't know. would be a fucked up Freak of evolution but could be something. hashtag worldbuilding
