I don't really know. one of the perils of being an artist is that you're not gonna like everything you make. I thought very little of some of these songs at first, as I am won't to do with most things I make, but I think putting it on a cassette forced me to at least bring it up to an "acceptable" standard for me. would be stupid if I had a cassette tape with unfinished music that sucks, you know.

and the novelty of it gave me a different way to appreciate it. not the best I've made, sure, but as a continuous, two-sided experience, I guess it's alright. and since I've actually finished it, there's no reason others shouldn't be able to experience it as well.

I'm not sure why I never released these otherwise. Emptiness was the only truly unfinished project, and I basically only included it because there was still space left. it did encourage me to touch up things but all the music was basically done.

it's a bit of a transitional period in my life, I guess. both figuratively and literally lmao, I mean I came out as trans when I started highschool and like. Paper is just music I made when I was bored in class.

I had also started to detest the wormsworth moniker. it didn't really feel like me or what I wanted my music to be. I'm releasing these now, knowing that I'm no longer the person I was when I made them. I'm not releasing it as sierrasunsets, because that's not who I was, and I'm not releasing it as wormsworth, because that's not who I am anymore. I'm releasing it as the person I've become.
