@flobeamer1922 every fucking time lately dude I'm at my fucking limit

good morning, everyone! I'm Rachel, AKA Rachel Underspoon, a transfeminine non-binary artist and composer. today's #BandcampFriday , so now is a great time to buy my music!

I make electronic music that borrows from, and shifts quite a bit among, genres, and I currently have four releases available on my Bandcamp page:

ALL THE WALLS WILL FALL, released just this past June, is a more vocal-heavy collection of tracks about fascism, transfeminism, and mental illness, drawing heavily from drone, industrial, the icier side of trip-hop, and sound collage.

the ghost fetish is a mostly-instrumental album loosely centered around the theme of anxiety around climate collapse. tgf features heavy synthwave and downtempo influences, and it's probably the most accessible of the four.

eclipse is an EP of songs that didn't fit on nonbinaural. I didn't intend it to be as such, but it's a collection of songs about my own mental state, intensely personal and inward-focused even when the songs are telling a story.

nonbinaural is a collection of early compositions from back in 2022 and the start of 2023. it showcases the energy that I had when I started composing music, just kicking out song after song because I finally had a creative outlet that clicked with my brain.

all four albums are available at the pay-what-you-want level, with a minimum purchase price of just $1 each. my goal is to keep the barrier to entry low so that people in challenging financial situations can still afford my music, but if you can afford more, then please do!

@vantiss @soft thank goodness for that

@flobeamer1922 @vantiss idk if it's actually a Thing in any statistically significant capacity or if it was just a slow news week on twitter and people made it up for engagement farming

@vantiss luckily I don't use ftfy because I think it's kind of rude anyway but this reminds me of the "ofc means of fucking course" thing which, No it absolutely does Not when I say it, but, grr ambiguity my kryptonite

@vantiss I've...never seen it mean "fuck this fuck you" :o

@vantiss "chuun who still did not understand the assignment" listen, you can just watch one episode a week and pretend it's airing,

@vantiss okay here's one that is also finished and not upcoming/airing that I may have mentioned before but you and rachel might like, sleepy princess in the demon castle. 12 episodes, fairly minimal anime bullshit from what I remember, funny, cute, great for bedtime

@vantiss well see, it /was/ weekly though, back when it aired you see,
