finished watching digital circus yesterday . it's ok . kinda wish i had spent my time watching something better but it's whatever . jax is a good character but as i saw someone else point out everyone else is kinda flat . the dialogue was cumbersome at times . id go far as saying most of the characters were too good at communicating , because it's much more interesting to have characters who suck at communicating and have huge fucking problems , like jax (and to a lesser degree gangle , she's like , fine) . i wish zooble was more cynical . i think caine's situation post-deletion should have been stretched out into a whole episode and been weirder and more abstract . i think jax's nightmare should have been longer and worse , i want as an observer to feel tormented by it like she does . uhhhh yep thats my amazing digital opinion

thinking about that post that's like "in the cyberpunk future it's not going to be cool. the corporations are going to exercise so much power resistance won't be possible. you will be poor and stupid" and like yeah generally i agree. but also everything already sucks now and we already are poor and stupid , and yet people still resist . hackers are still hacking weird diy solutions to expensive problems . biohackers are still doing freaky at-home surgeries and making grey-market hormones and doing weird crispr shit even though the establishment really doesnt want them to . so i think it's too pessimistic to think that everybody will be poor and stupid and helpless . just poor lol

The Girl She Liked Kinda Hoped This Yuri Naming Convention Would Die Out By Now But It Only Seems To Get Worse So She Decided To Accelerate It Instead And Now They Are Both Trapped In A Title So Long It Subsumed The Text Itself An Inescapable Labyrinth Of Their Own Creation And The More Lost They Become In It The More They Lose Sight Of The Premise And She Is Wondering If Maybe The Girl Likes Her Too
