thinking about that post that's like "in the cyberpunk future it's not going to be cool. the corporations are going to exercise so much power resistance won't be possible. you will be poor and stupid" and like yeah generally i agree. but also everything already sucks now and we already are poor and stupid , and yet people still resist . hackers are still hacking weird diy solutions to expensive problems . biohackers are still doing freaky at-home surgeries and making grey-market hormones and doing weird crispr shit even though the establishment really doesnt want them to . so i think it's too pessimistic to think that everybody will be poor and stupid and helpless . just poor lol
