existential threat

thinking disorganized thoughts. mashups as a subversion of the commoditization of music ? a reterritorialization of the individualistic commodity through a more communal lens. "dariacore" is the accelerated version of this, a hyperpop-esque cannibalistic genre that aims to be so unpalatable to the normie ear that it isn't commoditizable

i could do some nietzschean analysis and say that the reason dariacore and hyperpop and related genres are unpalatable is because they tap more deeply into the dionysiac, the chaotic entropic impulse . this is the kind of thing i am good at

@ikeWren @detondev i think i need to listen to it another time to describe it better but i felt like it didnt feel like a "long album (as in the likes of gybe ambient stuff u know what im talking about)" but it also didnt feel packed like a french montana album with 100 tracks where its just a lot of music

idk every critique i have of the album makes me like it more. everytime i feel its corny or the fact that its trying to be a concept album about 6 things at the same time or everytimeit quotes mark fisher it just makes me feel like it just makes me like it more Its Folx Dawg its Lit and even writing these critiques i think to myself how dumb they are but it doesnt really matter cause i wouldnt have it any other way its folx and i love it

@iris @ikeWren Yeah the length is good cuz the dissociative quality it helps lend makes it more artistically effective. no matter how Mark fisher's taken, every sample and reference helps u really feel like u know every single niche online sphere this mf ever been in, which also makes it more artistically effective. aint much where all the possible criticism feels like it contributes first thing I think of is On The Silver Globe

@ikeWren @detondev if i was smart i would write about the marxist parts and his father and about the love that employers demand workers to feel towards their labor because it really is my favorite part outside the actual sound

it really represents well the false consciousness the average american/western worker has to love their boss and if you just work harder youll be there one day even outside the parts that are just fisher/marx quotes (the little parts of the song titles that i like da most: i can be just like him, eliminating the part of myself that arent comtribuiting to success, im not arguing w my boss im having a open dialogue, letting go of my friensds who cant accept that im happy dating my boss, i need my boss and he needs me, it was my fault my boss reacted that way actuall)
