ngl zippers on your boots are such an insane crutch. like most people dont even realise that you can loosen or tighten the laces to get in or out. they only understand the knot

@coolbean i like speedlaces for this reason . but zippers are also not bad i think .... the thing is just that it takes longer to loosen+tighten the laces like that and people are always in a hurry

@ikeWren yea but the shoes just fit so much better if i bother with it + i get to tie more knots and thats fun

i respect speed laces a bit more because its not inherent to the shoe. you can use either those or traditional laces

i think i appreciate lugs here just cause they have less friction making this easier but i hate hate hate those annoying open lugs they put on boots instead of the top 2 pairs of eyelets
