Conversation
frustratingly my one lil escapism, philosophy, is starting to make me feel lonely as well, I see others having discourse abt philosophy and I can't rly chime in cause cos everybody already knows each other and I'm nobody, and I know comparatively little, at least little that's useful in conversation

@cyborg072 i don't know the slightest thing abt camus hehe. tbf i know a good bunch abt some niche stuff. it's just not rly a basis for conversation, cos it would always be giving person forcing their special interest into the convo

@utz as long as you like have philosophical reading projects you do, you're equipped to have fun talks with most philosophically interested people

@utz philosophy makes me feel lonely because it's very hard for me to find people irl to talk to about it

@kyouu this feeling comes from me not rly having anyone irl to talk to abt this stuff, and some attempts to chime in on threads on x dot com going nowhere cos people only talk to oomfs and colleagues, and really have no reason to respect a niche persepctive by some random account they don't know.
