virgin Judeo-Christian vs. chad Judeo-Islamic

@nautilus it is funny that jews and christians are significantly further from eachother than either are from islam yet christians latch onto this phrase. a judeo christian... that sounds pretty muslim to me!

@salt in the US the phrase is basically a Cold War invention, meant to bolster support for Zionism and erase radical Jews. and yeah I've heard people claim that Judaism theologically has more in common with Islam than Christianity

@nautilus i always read "Thus We have appointed you a middle nation" (2:143) as referring to our median point between christians and jews. though it can also be read in reference to makka being geographically the center of the lands (sorry picrel is so low quality lol it was hard to even find this)
