annoyed that we have to constantly remind people that you are entitled to a child free life if you choose, but you are not entitled to a child free society, nor does anyone owe you anything for encountering a child in public. grow the fuck up

@melkyway Okay, but maybe don't bring an infant to a movie theater. That's a little much. But also, our society needs to build more infrastructure and funding for child care. Parents are humans, and honestly do need a break from their proto-person who while configuring and calibrating, who at first does little but watch, scream, cry, eat, defecate and vomit. The nuclear family is aberrant. The actual parents need breaks, as do caregivers. A given child should be cared for by like, 10 adults.

@melkyway I know the only reason I saw an infant in a movie theater is because child care is prohibitively expensive, and the parents wanted to show their older kids a movie.
