@zx @erin TSA precheck let's you use a metal detector. And if it gets super busy they will walk you through a metal detector. But mainly these are for seeing if you're trying to smuggle something under your clothes.

@zx @monkey @erin Not the UK, just because it really isn't much better for trans people there. I know some French, and my gf knows German, and both of us want to move to Europe. I also was looking at Uruguay at one point, but she doesn't like that idea and really wants to be in Europe. So probably a French or German speaking country in Europe, which leaves quite a few options. Haven't narrowed things down from there.

@zx @monkey @erin Uraguay has informed consent for HRT, leagalized weed, and generally just a lot of good policies on par with Euro nations but without the ick I get from Europe bc of all their imperialism. Also, at least for me personally, I love rainy and overcast weather and Uraguay has a lot of that, as well as some big storms. One of few things I'd really miss about Texas is not experiencing those big ominous Texas storms.
