doctors and other medical personnel (with the exception of people who make cool things like vaccines etc) do not get enough criticism. most of them see you as a piece of meat with laboratory markers and refuse to consider who you are and what your goals of care etc may be beyond and are extremely uptight, conformist and often not very bright and make sure that only similar people get through licensure etc so they don't have to meditate on their own psyches and crimes. if you get a doctor who actually gives a fuck about you as a person you are insanely lucky and should keep them best you can
