continuing the recent trend: CTPSD test time! pleasantly surprised i don't meet the diagnostic threshold anymore, my test from 5-10 years ago would've looked very different
@vantiss my results were not good
glad you are doing better π«Ά
@vantiss hah... Haha... Guess I should bring this up to my doctor too...
@The_T
you scored higher than rachel :o yeah seems like a good plan
@vantiss this was a bit weird for us cause it asks about "the stressful experience" and it's not really that we had a single very traumatic experience. more just an accumulation of smaller things over decades. not sure how accurate our answers actually are.
@elexia
I just treated it as "all of the experiences, together, any and all of them"
@vantiss we've actually gotten a lot better with regards to negative self-concept, though that was never our worst issue. we mostly stopped blaming ourselves for our issues. maybe should have actually answered one question slightly differently and that would have scored us even lower.
but yeah, always on edge, anxious, tense. stressful dreams are common, though not necessarily about anything we experienced. just like, violence, stressful situations, often unrealistic ones.
severe difficulty with trusting people and emotional closeness.
@patchuun @monkey @vantiss There's definitely some "the questions are too damn vague" in there, but I'm more semi-facetiously observing the uhhh neurotypical bias of some of it. Where "healthy" gets conflated with "useful for the ruling class".
Like I have an "outsized negative reaction to manipulative advertisements", this is a healthy as fuck adaptive reaction that I will defend to the death, but I'm pretty sure 99/100 therapists would try to "fix" it.
@vantiss I think it was short somehow, IDK what the meta-scoring system is so who knows why.
@vantiss I'm pretty sure I recall going over a more comprehensive evaluation for this at some point and the result was "yes definitely see a therapist about this", which I am so...
