There was a Sodalicious near my place. One of the drinks was called The Boyscout. It was rootbeer with fake marshmallow flavoring and vanilla. Very very good. You could order it dirty, which would add lime juice, or extra dirty which would add lime juice and a little bit of heavy cream for mouthfeel.
