@MossGrowsOnNormanRuins @MURRUMUR I watched no strings attached (2011), in which a tween boy asks a tween girl if he can finger her during the cold open, in theaters with my parents when I was 16. I have watched basic instinct with my mom. my mom literally knows the gist of my kinks and what I'm about. she found my collection of bdsm gear while I was on a student council trip during my senior year (I was class rep). I am wholly immune to such petty and insignificant embarrassment as "sex scene in a movie while your parents are in the room". it straight up does not matter. all of this shit ain't nothin to me man

@MossGrowsOnNormanRuins @MURRUMUR no strings attached is mid btw don't watch it. dogshit. I only wanted to see it because natalie portman was in it. 13 going on 30 is a much much better chickflick

@MURRUMUR @MossGrowsOnNormanRuins 13 going on 30 is actually a great movie tbh. too bad it's hetshit but most of these romcoms are. if you can look past that there's a lot to like I think.

@MURRUMUR There's better and (a lot of) worse examples but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a sucker for basic existentialism as a theme
