Murder is never the answer! If we want to fix the climate, oil company executives should be held accountable for the harm fossil fuels have caused! Justice must be served! Their sentence is the death penalty, every single one of them.

violence “isn’t the answer” only because the system has been able to weather all the violence previously thrown at it. you can’t just kill one person and magically put things right (except for yourself, unless something worse awaits us beyond death. who is to say?)

it’s a network of people who are sometimes legally required to be replaced, the only thing they’d need to do is find someone else who is just as eager to make money without regard. power is a game already rigged in favor of power, the only way to win is to kill all of it and end the game

@fiore there is not an inch of this world that isn’t already tarnished. the only way to not play is, again, to commit suicide. that’s another reason it’s so pervasive—you can’t just not play it. going off-grid and all that is a fun little pretend game you can play but countries are unfortunately still a thing, reguse to play all you want but you’re still in the game.

@ikeWren if a group of people violently overthrow the government they will already have FIRSTHAND EXPERIENCE that violence can get them what they want. if said group just replaces everyone in power, the system is just slowly gonna lead to corruption again, and events can just repeat.
