I feel like if people had a basic understanding of statistics and randomness, the world would be a slightly better place

the fact most people believe that several consecutive identical results somehow increase the likelihood of the next result being different is a complete and utter failure of EVERYTHING, WHAT THE FUCK ARE WE EVEN DOING

@wire_witch logically i realize that this is not at all how it works but i find it unbelievably difficult to intuit this . very frustrating
