@coolbean this is true . really the main issue is just the way that ALL non-normative thought is pathologized ; some thought and behavior is legitimately harmful

@ikeWren i dont disagree but in this case it did help me. once i recognised that my handwashing habit was in fact a compulsion i was able to build the insight necessary to not wash my hands so much they dry out become leathery and crackle
