dd.mm.yyyy is the most intuitive way to format a date . descending order of specificity . it's good . i hate mdy formats so much

from a theoretical point of view i dont like any dates at all , time was never meant to be measured these are real date formats etc etc , but from a pragmatic point of view i like this one

@ikeWren the objectively good format is yyyy年 mm月 dd日, as the Japanese and Chinese do. Alternatively you can do yyyy-mm-dd.

@bartholin yyyy-mm-dd also works because theyre organized in a sequence that makes sense . mdy just pisses me off
