it's interesting how "woman at the beginning of time introduces evil to the world" is a throughline of western mythology . the greek pandora, adopted by rome ; and eve , co-opted by "western civilization" during the rise of the popularity of christianity . im sure there are other examples i don't really know about . im already aware this is considered in depth in feminist studies but it still strikes me every once in a while
