interesting: Every now and then, instagram shows my grandma posts and stories from people she don't follow and the only way to get rid of them is to block them. the app seemingly pretends like she follows these random ass bitches—in the menu for one of these posts was the option to unfollow, and after clicking that the post disappeared. the "hide stories/activities" button or whatever doesn't exactly do anything since they still show up but grayed out. what's even the point of that?

explanation: facebook is trying to force-feed everyone shit that no one fucking cares about. what a great company!
