I do think the like overarching narrative here is about loneliness and friendship and love type shit. human connection type shit. you could tell carol was kinda going insane without anyone around even though she was able to live her best life. I feel like the firework scene is symbolic of her like. emptiness despite everything. she can keep herself entertained and have fun and all but she’s still completely alone .
