like the transmutation tablets are just something fucking else man, you telling me I got infinite everything in my POCKET? JUST LIKE THAT?? but it's good cause it lets us build whatever the fuck we want without having to actually get most of the blocks

but like on the first server everything was so close together which kinda harmed the performance, the pack was a bit shit, and most of us didn't know what the hell we were doing I think.

2.0 comes around and like a genius I decide to build in a wasteland biome which, okay look it was so fucking cool I don't even care but oh my god everything else was so far away. about halfway from new pingas city was the legendary Hootch Strip hallowed be thy name, but even then it was still a fuckin journey, so we mostly just teleported. but then when it came to the city it never really saw much life. and it was kinda car-centric and like way too big and whatever

2.3 didn't last very long but we did get started on a town and I remember we were gonna have an actual train network but it just kinda fizzled out and died. sad. it added a lot of new fun stuff but it never really fixed any problems from 2.2 (and earlier) and the gregification was just too much (people still complain about the glass, and I didn't even think it was that bad ! gulp)

but now with a pack that actually runs well, a lot of fun new toys to play with, more stuff for actually building nice shit, and the power of alchemy, we've been able to just Pop the Fuck Off

I think the reason it's so alive is cause we've got more people playing, we got more stuff to mess around with (both mods and vanilla features lol 1.12 to 1.20 is a lot) and also just like. more experience I guess. but it's nice. things are really connected too I'm excited to get my own little railyard set up ... I gotta do thatttt

and I had to make so many circuits !!! two times !!!!!!!!! but it's fine lol I should really set up autocrafting in my cleanroom and make it a bit more Erm proper lmao it's running on 4A HV and there's 3 EV machines and 1 IV which . . . not quite enough to be reliable. plus the chemical reactor autocrafting department is kinda fucking ass atm ngl. I should aim for some multiblocks soon and just hook them up to my ME system with the special pattern bus (I believe that's a thing . not that I know how it works though but I'll figure it out.

new automatic ore processing system. one of the more expensive projects and I'm glad I was able to modify the original plan slightly to be, like, 8 less machines . cause I had to fire up this thing midway through building it in order to have enough titanium I could smelt and turn into more machines .
