@kirby twix sucks…… there’s only one variety of twix, you go to the shop and there are like 5 different kitkats and they’re all peak…

@autumn @kirby i liked it as a kid and now i just think "well its better than mars and snickers" with kitkat not really crossing my mind as much. less available and more expensive when it is

@coolbean @autumn flavortown wise kitkats have a little to be desired, i remember kitkats tasting a little too almondy

@kirby @autumn i really like them texturally. the caramel in twix is a bit too sticky and sweet

@autumn @coolbean really could be nostalgia talking but the new cups just taste.. far too sweet. it ruins some of the flavor with how sweet they typically are. older reeses cups had a more peanut buttery taste rather than just.. sweetness mixed with shitty fake peanut butter

@autumn @coolbean maybe i should refrigerate a reeses cup and see if it brings back that old taste from when i was 10. sweets and cold temperatures tend to mix really well for some reason

@kirby @autumn makes the chocolate extra crunchy but also your saliva warms it back up so its not super hard on your jaw like regularly hard chocolate

@coolbean @autumn refrigerated oreos work pretty well in a similar way, it hardens the creme and that plus the temperature puts my teeth and tounge at ease. it's always so pleasant, the bigger the creme the nicer it is
