some more functional designs for shipping container and fluid tank cars ... they actually have interfaces unlike the boxcars so they can be loaded and unloaded automatically. I've been thinking of making a dedicated branch line and facility to handle is ... ideas are being had!

@celestiallavendar Create, mainly! there’s a few addons like Steam ‘n’ Rails and Create: Deco of course but yup. awesome stuff. there’s also The Factory Must Grow for the steel tanks and Copycats+ for the microblock detailing and such

@sierra I’m from the old modding world so Create has been pretty new to me and TBH I’ve been struggling to like have fun with it and really get into it to the depth I think it probably has.

This looks super cool though, and I would kind of love the idea of doing a train world modded run. I tried to do it with railcraft last year but it was so buggy that I couldn’t get it to work to ship things long distance.

Is this a mod pack that you’re running or did you put together a custom pack?

@celestiallavendar yeah, Create can be pretty hard to get into if you’re a modding oldhead but I’ve gotten a newfound appreciation for it. it does things in ways that are really unique but still feel vanilla, in a way (deployers are just right-clicking machines if you think about it)

the pack and server I play on is Mtron Complete, I’ve helped put it together so technically the answer is both. We’ll be putting out an update pretty soon and I’m hoping to make the server more public and bring some more players online. I’ll host an event of sorts so look out for that if you’re interested.

we actually have railcraft too, believe it or not. I’ve been working on a metro city for the city. only one station is done though but hey, it works
