three stories about my mother driving today

• she slapped a trump “i did that” sticker on the gas pump before my very eyes
• she’s started carrying around our good pair of scissors to take down ads for a lawncare service that keeps illegally securing them to stop signs. when she saw them she swerved like she was gonna crash the car
• we were on the road with a cop car and a car with a “back the blue” license plate and we were the only ones going the speed limit
