@lizzie I think most of this with me is our shared contextual knowledge. This is why it can get so depressingly hard to enter convos with people without also consuming the same things as them. I'll overhear my coworkers chat with eachother about shit from South Park to beaches in the south, I got nothing to say.

@apophis @lizzie okay and another big thing is all the extra added stimuli added. it's not just thinking and typing anymore, you're in a hot smelly room tryna be spatially aware of the six tall dudes to the left as you perform human motions to the convo partner. I never expect my irl talking to match my writing unless I rehearse well
