@fiore @MalibuSunrise @annamaria I will be disappointed if there is no reveal as to the scope of gaster's involvement, and after this chapter I'm expecting to be disappointed

@Merc @fiore @annamaria i think the expectations are too high about any "gaster reveals" i mean ffs we have him basically confirmed speaking to us at the start of the game with all the context the another him theme provides and that alone would have 2015 era undertale nerds going up the walls, i think maybe we as a fandom are little spoiled

@fiore @Merc @MalibuSunrise @annamaria “im playing it for the plot [theories and gaster™]” versus “im playing it for the plot [ralsei’s finally feeling some of his own desires weEHHHH Q_Q]”

@MalibuSunrise @Merc @annamaria people wouldn't be complaining about that if it released along with 3&4 which is infinity lore drop. plus, we know more of asgore's deal And I think that’s good actually

@fiore @Merc @MalibuSunrise @annamaria i was gonna say something and thought about it and im slightly more interested in gaster now, solely because theres a lot of potential to tell a really sad or interesting story through him

the tragedy of being trapped between worlds, someone who made a world after being locked out of their own…

im only interested in “plot” in the sense of themes and emotions, really i think thats the most meaningful thing about “plot”

@sierra @Merc @annamaria no i thought that what we got was great: character development from ralsei and asgore and a big lead up to what happens in chapter 6 aswell as some clearance on what happened to drive asgore to his conspiracies and a big wrench in dess knight
