this is the third time I've lubricated my pc fan and third's time the swarm so if she starts rattling again I'm just getting a new one lowkey

but I'm hopeful that it won't be necessary. gave her a good scrub to remove the gunk and added fresh glue for the sticker and rubber plug thingy so it should be fully sealed in case that was part of the problem. it took much longer for the rattling to return since last I did this and the case has been fully opened (in related news I realized that one of the pins was bent and that's why putting it back has been so goddamn annoying)
