I was inspired by a conversation the other day about Titanic Charon smoking cigarettes so I started on another Cor Mechanicum chapter (on my phone) (also because I was bored)

The good thing is that, unlike other ideas I have, I actually know how to bridge this to where I'm at right now otherwise, and I only need about one chapter of material—maybe less

I like how this one opens. an overlooking of the setting. like a bunch of superimposed still-lifes. a wordless and evocative breaking bad cold open. but I won't say much more.
