I am trying to spread rot to torrid desert by going in and out of the warp to the surface. I will then rest in the shelter above, and warp to a hopefully non-rotted region

Attempt 1: Five scavengers, two elites among them, decide that they want to follow me with. I am promptly put down while trying to warp back
Attempt 2: This time only two scavengers get dragged with, one elite. the shield activates and explodes, sending me into the void
Attempt 3: I am killed by a white lizard upon entering the building.
Attempt 4: I am killed by a white lizard upon entering the building.

Attempt 5: All goes according to plan. I am killed by the same white motherfucking lizard as I make my way back to the shelter.
