the pole I’m climbing up suddenly ends, I try to float to the other side and resume my climb, but it’s too far. I plunge into the rising water. “I’m fucked,” I think. the rain starts tearing my screen apart, but I stay afloat. maybe, just maybe, it could carry me up

and it did. I warped back to signal spires. safe from the rain. eat myself to full and then return to the shelter. holy fucking gaming.
