I will never understand the whole "the PS5 doesn't have any games!" thing.

Y'all know you can just not like a platform/developer/publisher without saying untrue things?

Lying is just confusing.

I am being told that this is people being hyperbolic over either a perceived low number of first party AAA exclusives or just not enough games that they personally like or want.

Still doesn't really make sense to me, but ok.

@TheSunnyOne also the renewal of an ancient joke about the ps3 having a very poor offering of games at launch

"Ancient" ouch πŸ˜…

But yeag, that was another one I never really got because there were plenty of games I enjoyed for the PS3, but I assume that's hyperbole again?

@vantiss
@anarchautistic I generally go where the games I want are.

Although after the Wii I made that rule a bit more strict (10+ games, or no buy)

I never really got the whole platform loyalty thing thing either πŸ˜…

@TheSunnyOne @vantiss @anarchautistic I get it for Sega specifically. I'm still waiting for a successor to the dreamcast. Maybe they will save console gaming

@TheSunnyOne I think it was hyperbole but slightly less hyperbole at launch. Lots of games came out later in the console's lifespan I think?

Ah, looking it up now it's because thr USA launch only had 14 titles while the European launch had 24.

So my experience would've been different from most of yalls
