I just realized that it's orange soul mode. you get a dash. makes me think of this one little animation I saw of the different soul modes hanging out which had an orange soul moving super fast around the place lol

makes me think that a cyan (aqua?) soul mode would be like, avoiding (orange) attacks by freezing in place, maybe you have to position yourself to also not get hit by regular attacks. maybe some bullet patterns has you constantly attacked by orange so adjusting your position to dodge normal attack will also killed you. maybe

either that, or it'll make the bullets stop moving instead
