I understand everything there is to know about the world

at some point I should sit down and write it all out. how everything is just complex systems on complex systems

tonight's epiphany: DNA isn't instructions for how to make another being. they're instructions for how a being should make itself. you can't make an animal out of nothing, you always need a pre-existing animal to make the DNA and put it in a zygote or something. cells beget cells beget cells.

system complexity increases as it optimizes to solve problems, but complexity is capped by the parts of a system and how they interact. such is everything

a lot of the systems humanity has imposed kn itself are fucking terrible and shouldn't be used but all of society contains shitbillions of individual parts and most all the rules are made up to begin with. soooo
