hm I should probably have a local music library myself. I have syncthing set up so I can share between pc and phone. it's just the ordeal of getting all the mhsic ever. and I need a music player with gapless + good playlist creation

@sierra dunno how much you're into self-hosting a server, but i've had a great time with running navidrome and connecting to it from my phone using the Tempus app. using https://beets.io/ to fix the metadata

@0x1eaf music server feels a little overkill, particularly as I don't have one (nor the space for one, really). beets sounds useful tho
