christmas would be good if we got rid of all the secular stuff

and the religious stuff did not expand to fill its place

@shroomie basically the christmases i enjoyed during my orthobro phase when sincere dedication to the religious holiday gave me the power to largely tune out the secular stuff as totally irrelevant to me

@apophis well i mean i’ve mostly tuned out the secular stuff as “just part of christmas” and have issues drawing the line where the secular stuff ends and the religious stuff begins (other than like, being able to point at the star on the christmas tree and go “holy fucking shit the infant”
