had a very lovely time playing it today! no hard bosses, getting into the groove of the game ^_^

actually just yelled "YEAH ! FUCKING BITCH!" at a boss after i beat it's stupid fucking ass like i'm playing mw2 in 2014. that's crazy.

this fucking game tests my patience. the choice to not have the bench next to a boss fight so you still have to deal with fucking unpredictable obstacles before you can even TRY to fight the boss that has kicked your fucking ass 15 times. fucking CIA torture game.

i do not understand how you as a developer, in good faith, think this is a good idea. please make me spawn right outside the boss room to start it again. why would you put all of this shit that will piss me the fuck off before im able to do the boss again. because what ends up happening is that people will rush through it, make mistakes, be in a worst position to fight the boss, lose to the boss. and the fucking horrible CIA Torture fucking waterboarding cycle continues .

there's not even some fun comeback story or sense of determination when the game does cheap shit like this. it's just fucking frustration and annoyance.

hollow knight felt like a game that was fair in it's difficulty where even if the bench wasn't right next to the boss it was still like a straight path or some weak enemies to get there

silksong will literally put a bench like halfway across the map, fill the area with enemies that will do 2 hits of damage to you for no reason, and then also fucking parkour challenges and then when you finally beat the boss ermmm actually we did this thing that no other boss in the game does where it explodes and fucking kills you for no reason even those you already fought and beat the boss

my friend told me that you can equip the magma bell to not have the explosions do double damage and the fight is so much easier, i still haven't beat it because i'm now going for a lot more fucked up risky strategies but i've gotten close several times atp

okay so any silksong-heads in the chat. i literally did not discover bile water until just now, i've unlocked every single melody and fighting lace. but i have not unlocked bilewater until Right Now. Because i thought you needed a skill or item to get past the mist, and I just skipped it. I used the other entrance via the desert and completely skipped it until i googled it just now because i hadn't played the game for so long

also phantom was a nice fight :P they defo programmed in hornet tier 3 as a boss and then switched to hornet being playable so they had to make a new guy 😭

i've got the 2nd best needle now :PP i've actually been putting off getting to act 3 ( i think, i need to beat pale) for so long and just doing sidequest loll

the delivery quest was not even that bad, the hk one was so much worst

there are like 40 thousand things i still need to do in act 2 before i fight lace, i dont even know if lace is the final thing before act 3 but i'm basically just doing every single sidequest and i've got like 4 bosses i need to fight rn lmfao

i've found all the fleas, upgraded my needle to the 2nd best, done some money grinding to buy out the stores from various vendors, working on doing all of the notice board quests rn.. i just don't want to continue the awesome storyline...

some of the bosses in this game feel like reused "hornet tier 3, 4" things that they couldn't use because you Play as Hornet. Phantom is one thats almost exactly like her, but also Second Sentinel is now feeling like a hornet tier 4.

into act 3!!!!! i've fought the grand mother silk the first time, then got all of the mask shards & spoof frags & the trap for her to start act 3.... now i'm on the centipede but im gonna stop for today and go sleep zz
