so I can either
wait the full 5 hours for this to train (will be done past 6 AM and I want to be in bed before then)
change the epochs to 1 and it'll reduce it to like 2:30 (not much better)
OR
I can make it use the entire GPU. which it isn't, for some reason.

well, I turned down the epochs to 1 and increased the max memory by 2 gigs just in case (don't think it'll be needed, but still), wasn't really able to do anything else. maybe if I did this on my actual linux partition it'd work better, but I'm too lazy to switch to that now lmao

two and a half hours. fine. whatever. I'm gonna just close everything else on my computer so it can do this in peace, I guess.

@sierra does it often fail? If not, why not just let it run?
