my plan to make desktops and applications look cooler is simple
- unlimited money and free time
- make a new application toolkit
- make a new desktop environment around it
- pay an artist to go kinda crazy on the base theme

more realistically, kde/qt is probably a good base to build on but im not fond of c++

need developers and artists for making a top new free to play shooter game. developers make good game, artists make good skins. i will make money by selling skins. developers and artists willing be paid with exclusive skins.
