having waited several days since my last material response to you, I'm deeply disappointed that this is where you ended up on it

the strongest you came out against anything in the blog post was against the people bringing this up and pushing for positive changes, while treating carrotcypher and anachron with kid gloves. in the former case, calling the vitriol "disparaging things" - even your mod Jim was able to summon a better framing than that

For anachron, the fact your takeaway was that you should've thought more about the impact and how people would read it, and painting it as just being unfortunately worded is... also really disappointing to me

Even if you want to eschew the terms you mentioned at the end of the blog post, one can still accurately describe and characterize the blog post as condescending, ahistorical, harmful bullshit - more than enough to make it clear his judgment wouldn't have been fit for a mod team
