We need to talk about Femboyphobia.

Femboyphobia is a BIG problem - not only in finance, but in EVERY part of society. You have no idea how often ive run into it- or how often the femboyphobia-unaffected shrug it off as "just a joke". 😕 Its important to be aware of the affects our words can have - & the stereotypes we may be perpetrating ❤️

FEMBOYPHOBIA CAN LOOK LIKE:

• misgendering (e.g. SHE'S not a femboy, SHE'S a girl!)
• sexualization (e.g. i need to find a femboy to fuck!)
• insults (e.g. femboys are cringe & dumb - grow out of it!)

to you it may be a funny joke about ikea, but to a femboy it might be sexualizing their identity. all i ask is please take a moment when you post to think of minorities like femboys, & how they might be affected 😇

people often post like femboys aren't real, but in fact we're all around you! we are your coworkers, your classmates, & your friends - & deserve to be treated with respect 💕 #FemboyAwarenessWeek
