you can use them to carve stone (the one with the black and white carving is more useful for building stuff though if you’re going too far into deep space or getting things from places outside earth’s solar system) and they make really pretty crystals, which are like. not super easy to get in real life but I think that’s just part of why there’s a big crystal mine right next door!
