i initially misread "charlatans" as "christians" and read the first ~45% of this article with the thought in the back of my mind how 10 years ago i had found myself doing a lot of these things to myself, knowingly, because i was that desperate to buy into a system that promised to fix what was wrong with me

Lately I’ve been pretty focused on the idea of imagery of throwing oneself into a machine. Now of course our lives are all about machines, though very few are really built to contain all the eccentricities of an entire person. When I transitioned, it could be said that the machine you’re talking to now was formed (though, she need not be any more mechanical than any other person) and I threw myself into her. Right now I’m trying to make another, bigger machine, which lacks human limitations, though it still remains to be seen.

Apparently some areas are now looking like giant spider webs everywhere
