"if you want to be a girl, you can just be a girl" is crap advice. "girl" is a skill like any gender. you gotta follow that with a how-to (become.moe for example)

imagine if you asked for help and someone told you "if you want to be a game dev, you can just be a game dev" and then just did not elaborate. you're right where you started except now you feel dumber because you don't know how to "just be" that

@vyr I hate to be a stick in the mud but I did exactly that with art. I said “I wish i could draw” and my friends told me “you can draw if you want” and I did exactly that. I just started drawing and teaching myself. I think I’ve gotten pretty far in a year and a half~ :3

I get the point you are making here but its not about the path you follow, its about igniting passions in a way that works best for you~
