They don’t make sense within the current shell design. There’s nothing to minimize to, like a dock or window list, and it’s potentially confusing, since users will not know where their windows have gone.
WHY IS THERE NOWHERE FOR THEM TO GO TO. WHY NOT PUT SOMEWHERE IN THE OPERATING ENVIRONMENT FOR THEM TO GO TO, THATS THE WHOLE THING WITH AN ENVIRONMENT IS YOU MAKE PLACES FOR THINGS TO GO TO. HAVING NOWHERE TO GO MEANS YOU NEED TO MAKE SOMEWHERE TO GO NOT REMOVE BUTTONS EVERYONE USES!!!!!

People with motor control issues can use the existing super + ArrowUp shortcut or map it to something that works for them. Which they'd be aware of since the trouble of using the mouse would've already left them with a way to search for and work with keyboard shortcuts.
But given you're apparently on a trip here, this will make for an easy addition to my blocklist.
