@hannah wait lemme get this straight

the CIA has a publication that explains to readers what the various countries in the world are like

and somehow it's so good that everybody trusts it

leaving us with a situation where... everybody trusts a publication by the CIA

...and this administration nuked it

how are most of the uncompromised apparatus not already storming the white house to remove the world's most obvious Kremlin agents

if i wanted to get rid of that, I would at least first pepper it full of misinformation to further my goals. though i guess they'd make it the stupidest most over the top /pol/ slop (like all those redactions DOGE did)

@apophis @hannah some combination of 1: they already threatened to with Greenland and that made Trump back off,

and 2: I'm not sure that the "nonpartisan" security state is willing to risk direct much public attention. They know their political project (G. Bush the Elder being the best at it) has basically never won when it has been on the ballot

@hannah i can only imagine if someone somehow got a transcription of what trump and putin talk about behind closed doors it would resemble the epstein emails a lot...

@eris @hannah this might be the plan if they put it back up after enough public outcry
