@prettygood emojis are just arbitrary unicode runes, it's not like spaces where the moment you add them to filenames you have to deal with arcane and annoying escaping rules the moment you address them from the shell

it's hard to shake off the *feeling* that this is going to cause/reveal some incredibly obscure fucked up security vuln much later
