@salad @rowb1t amerikkka literally doesn't look real, a friend of mine went to texas to study abroad for a year and like the shit she was posting on her story looked like it was a chinese propaganda psyop about how far right amerikkka is but it was just her earnestly posting what she was doing in amerikkka

@salad @rowb1t like a rodeo where there were literally anerican flags everywhere and like the riders were dressed in amerikkkan flags and the people were wearing amerikkkan flags and like they were blasting the amerikkkan anthem while they got started and like people were hooping and hollering and like that shit looked like it was from that bit in 1984

@FiringSquadsEnjoyer @rowb1t @salad a common theme during those couple weeks people were swarming to rednote was how folks in china were learning that a lot of stuff they thought was just fake govt propaganda about how horrible america is... wasn't

@apophis @rowb1t @salad the insane part was that she literally never made any political statement on there at all it was just "here's my night out, here's the mega church, here's the rodeo, 'hey guys i got lost how do i get back from here?', here's the bar, here's my lecture hall, 'wow look how big these roads are', fun road trip pics!", etc.

@rowb1t Beaming "gosh that sure is a lot of instances of my home address cropping up on the open internet, being published by people who I share a mutual hatred with, perhaps now is a good time to walk some of this back" straight into his head and heart.

@FiringSquadsEnjoyer @salad it's just that the Houston rodeo is a huge deal, it's advertised everywhere and practically shuts the city down for a month. seems likely that'd be the one.

@nyx @salad @rowb1t normalposting: this guy is a serious dickhead yea

schizoposting: these flags, they are so specific and planted in the ground like that. you think that this was an accident? you think this isnt set up in advance? a republican representative in the house of office astroturfing his own district with flags to scare people? they are ready for us and know how to control the optics. for them its just paying a few people off and for us its an uphill battle. the cards are always stacked against you, dont forget it.
